The teen phenom strikes again! The frantic dance track sees the heartthrob sing about dancing with a beautiful girl in a considerably more upbeat number from the Boyfriend singer. "Beauty and a Beat" is a song by Canadian recording artist Justin Bieber, from his third studio album 'Believe', featuring Nicki Minaj, who lended her voice to the track. It is instrumentally complete with a heavy drum machine and rushing synthesizers. The track, like other club bangers he features on his album, follows the same musical vein as mentor Usher and Ne-yo. Following party songs like Prince's "1999" and Jay Sean's "2012", which also featured Miss Minaj, Justin is getting everyone to 'party like it's 3012'. The beat is present, as is the beauty in this smash hit; Bieber's incredible falsetto on "all... I need, is a beauty and a beat"will definately be stuck in your head for the next few days... at least! Having the beauty and a beat, however, is nothing big for Bieber, with many of his singles being undoubtetly phenomenal, (his hit song Baby has a whooping 700 MILLION VIEWS on YouTube... and growing!). To have a successful single, you need to have personality, which this catchy song definately has, which makes it very beauty-ful indeed! Beauty and a Beat is definately one for the dancefloor, with its rapid drum beats and David Guetta-style electro break down after every chorus. Bieber's new, mature sound is definately suited to everyone, and we respect how he's on his quest to grow up and be taken more seriously as an artist and come out of his comfort zone, as well as making music he and his fans love, too.
